Mosaic Desert Theatre offers scholarships to support aspiring artists in Casa Grande, helping them grow through immersive workshops and stage experiences.
Mosaic Desert Theatre “Step Into The Story” Scholarship
The Mosaic Desert Theatre Scholarship recognizes graduating seniors who have demonstrated dedication, creativity, and a commitment to the performing arts. This scholarship is intended to support students who have made meaningful contributions to theatre and who plan to continue their involvement in the arts after high school.
Application Timeline- Applications Open: August 1, 2026- Application Deadline: February 28, 2027
Eligibility Requirements:
Be a graduating high school senior, including public school, private school, charter school, or homeschool students.
1. Have participated in a theatrical production within the past 12 months, or be cast in a production scheduled to perform before the application deadline.
2. Reside in the Casa Grande area or have participated in a local theatre program or production.-
3. Plan to continue their involvement in theatre, performing arts, technical theatre, arts education, or other creative endeavors after graduation.- Submit a completed application by the published deadline.
Applicants must also submit:
Letter of Recommendation AND Personal Essay (minimum 500 words) Please Choose (1) Essay Topic:
1. Tell us about a theatre experience that had the greatest impact on your life.
2. How has theatre shaped who you are today?
3. What does theatre mean to you, and how do you hope to stay involved in the future?
Scholarship Awards Award amounts may vary annually based on available funding. Scholarships and recognition awards may include:- Cash scholarships- Honorable Mention awards- Certificates of achievement- Complimentary tickets to select Mosaic Desert Theatre productions- Recognition on the Mosaic Desert Theatre website and social media platforms. Our Mission Mosaic Desert Theatre believes theatre develops confidence, communication, creativity, empathy, and leadership. This scholarship celebrates students who embody those values and encourages the next generation of artists, educators, technicians, and storytellers to continue making an impact in their communities and beyond.
